Rapture and Remnant of Israel
Matthew 24
The United States was originally founded under the guidance of God, and its ancestors were Puritans. But soon these ancestors’ sons and grandsons, thinking they were smart, used Jews as Bible teachers and investments in order to “de-British”, so that the Israelites returned to Egypt. From the late eighteenth century to the nineteenth century, the United States developed its own dispensational Christianity and Mormonism. With worldly intelligence and influence, these famous churches and theologians that do not follow the Holy Spirit and the Bible have instead become the mainstream in the United States. Dispensationalism distorts Matthew 24, but in fact this chapter is predicting the Passover siege of Jerusalem in AD 70. According to the Jewish historian Joseph’s “Jewish Antiquities” Volume 15 Chapter 11, in order to please the Jews, Herod the Great replaced the original cornerstone of the Second Temple (Ezra 3:8). It was rebuilt on another laid foundation stone and raised 60 cubits, making it magnificent and magnificent. When the Lord Jesus was on earth, the temple had not been completely completed for forty-six years (John 2:20). Isn’t this just restoring the pyramids of Egypt?
24:1 Then （Mark 13:1; Luke 21:5–36） Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple.

This prophecy was fulfilled when the Second Temple was completely destroyed by the Roman army led by Prince Titus in AD 70. Even the stones were pried open, “not a stone was left on the stone” to obtain the roof from the temple when it was burned. Gold foil flowing through it. The end of the world refers to the destruction of the Second Temple.
24:2 And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, （1 Kin. 9:7; Mic. 3:12; Luke 19:44） not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”
24:3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, （Mark 13:3） the disciples came to Him privately, saying, (Matt. 24:27, 37, 39; Luke 17:20–37;1 Thess. 5:1–3)） “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
Before 70 AD, The Jews launched a massive coup against Rome. The high priests, Pharisees, and Zealots at that time all participated. Jesus did not want any Christian who was converted from Jew join the Jews. Those Jews denied the true Christ Jesus to declare many Antichrists.
24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them: （Eph. 5:6; (Col. 2:8, 18;2 Thess. 2:3;1 John 4:1–3)） “Take heed that no one deceives you.
24:5 For （Jer. 14:14; John 5:43; Acts 5:36; (1 John 2:18; 4:3)） many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ （Matt. 24:11） and will deceive many.
The end of the Temple will be 70 AD.
24:6 And you will hear of (Rev. 6:2–4)） wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
It was Roman versus Roman province of Judaea. In 70 AD, Titus captured Jerusalem as a general and ended the Jewish War. He experienced three serious disasters: the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, and the fire and plague of Rome in 80 AD. At that time he was an emperor who was universally loved by the people. Before the siege was taken place, the plotting of the Jews has been decades, that Jews will hate other Jews, especially the Christians who were converted from Jews.
24:7 For （2 Chr. 15:6; Is. 19:2; Hag. 2:22; Zech. 14:13） nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be （Acts 11:28; Rev. 6:5, 6） famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
24:9 （Matt. 10:17; Luke 21:12; (John 16:2); Acts 4:2, 3; Rev. 2:10） “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.
24:10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

24:11 Then （Acts 20:29;2 Pet. 2:1; Rev. 13:11; 19:20） many false prophets will rise up and (1 Tim. 4:1)） deceive many.
lawlessness is the high priests who hold the lawful and powerful positions but do all the evils. Therefore the love of many will grow cold.
24:12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow (2 Thess. 2:3;2 Tim. 3:1–3)） cold.
24:13 （Matt. 10:22; Mark 13:13） But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
The end of Temple will come in 70 AD. Daniel predicted Jesus Christ and how Holy Spirit replaced the Second Temple. The end of Pyramid came with Moses filled with Holy Spirit. The end of Temple came with Jesus Christ, the full God and full human. Without interpretation, readers do not understand.
24:14 And this （Matt. 4:23） gospel of the kingdom （Rom. 10:18; Col. 1:6, 23） will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
24:15 （Mark 13:14; Luke 21:20; (John 11:48); Acts 6:13; 21:28） “Therefore when you see the （Dan. 9:27; 11:31; 12:11） ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” （Dan. 9:23） (whoever reads, let him understand),
Christians are the remnant of Israel, the elect. Jesus want Christians who were converted from Jews moved to mountains, hide themselves from the massacre. After the Passover of 70 AD, all Jews were slaughtered by the Romans, about 600,000 Jews. After the war, the Roman Empire established the barracks of the Tenth Strait Legion and the Roman Colony of Aelia Capitolina on the ruins of Jerusalem. Christians who were formerly Jews were banned from entering Jerusalem. Today’s Jews are not descendants of the Jews of Second Temple, let alone the ancient Israelites. Today’s Jews were all converted Jews like our ancestors. Further, the vast majority of the Jews are Ashkenazi Jews. If anything biblical, they could be descendants of Japheth. The Sephardic Jews are Edomite, Berber, other Arabians, and Egyptians. The modern Jews are blend of those races. Since Middle Ages, Jews and Arabs had had good relationship and even some interfaith, until the Jewish terrorists started to launch terrorist attacks on Muslim communities. So more Muslims have been converted to Jews for generations. After Crusade, there are Indian Jews, and Asian Jews. But for power and wealth, those verses were twisted by ambitious Dispensationalists, Mormons, and even Jews, and even for the cause of 1948. As you know all the Rapture prophecy in the past did not come to pass, and will never. All false prophets have kept making revision to the Rapture and the Second Coming of Jesus stories in order to fit in the timeline of Judaism’s false Moshiah.
24:16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
24:17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house.
24:18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.
24:19 But （Luke 23:29） woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!
24:20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.
24:21 For （Dan. 9:26） then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
24:22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; （Is. 65:8, 9; (Zech. 14:2)） but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.
The plotting of the Jews against Roman Empire before 70 AD.
24:23 （Mark 13:21; Luke 17:23） “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it.
24:24 For （Deut. 13:1; John 4:48; (2 Thess. 2:9); Rev. 13:13） false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, (John 6:37; Rom. 8:28;2 Tim. 2:19)） if possible, even the elect.
24:25 See, I have told you beforehand.
24:26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it.
This verse was even used by Dispensationalists, Mormons, and Chinese cults to follow their books and their false prophecy. But this was actually about Roman Empire. When the Second Coming of the Son of Man in 70 AD, Jesus Christ used Roman Empire to destroy the Second Temple. Because without the Holy Spirit and the destruction of the Temple, there will be no Christian age.
24:27 （Luke 17:24） For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
Jesus killed 3,000 men of the congregation of Moses in first Old Testament Pentecost, but in first New Testament Pentecost, Jesus gained 3000 souls. And he will kill 600,000 Jews during the destruction of the Temple. In God’s timeline, it was first the age of Pyramids, then the age of Temples, then the age of Holy Spirit. God did not make any confusion. It was men created their own unbiblical theologies when they garbled verses all over the place.
24:28 （Job 39:30; Ezek. 39:17; Hab. 1:8; Luke 17:37） For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
24:29 (Dan. 7:11)） “Immediately after the tribulation of those days （Is. 13:10; 24:23; Ezek. 32:7; Joel 2:10, 31; 3:15; Amos 5:20; 8:9; Zeph. 1:15; Matt. 24:29–35; Acts 2:20; Rev. 6:12–17; 8:12） the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Jesus Christ was the One destroyed the Temple and massacred 600,000 Jews who did not convert to Christians.
24:30 (Dan. 7:13, 14; Matt. 16:27; 24:3, 37, 39)） Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, （Zech. 12:12） and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
After the destruction of the Temple and the massacred of the Jews, the Christians should come out and gather again, and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For Christians who were formerly Jews are the elect remnant of Israel.
24:31 （Ex. 19:16; Deut. 30:4; Is. 27:13; Zech. 9:14; (1 Cor. 15:52;1 Thess. 4:16); Heb. 12:19; Rev. 8:2; 11:15） And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
This was about the starting time and the end time of the siege of Jerusalem. It was from 0070/04/14 to 0070/09/08 in the summer. But Zionist and stray sheep now used this verse for 1948, but their prophecy never fulfilled and they had to revise their prophecy over and over to fit in their narratives. By this they denied the Word of Jesus Christ, but made themselves gods.
24:32 “Now learn （Luke 21:29） this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
24:33 So you also, when you see all these things, know (James 5:9; Rev. 3:20)） that it is near—at the doors!
24:34 Assuredly, I say to you, (Matt. 10:23; 16:28; 23:36)） this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.
Jesus Christ’s word will be fulfilled very quickly in 70 AD by the life time of this generation. Some of disciples were still alive. In the future, Holy Spirit and the words from Jesus will replace the Temple altogether. There will be no more biblical Temple, but synagogue of Satan.
24:35 （Ps. 102:25, 26; Is. 51:6; Mark 13:31; Luke 21:33; (1 Pet. 1:23–25;2 Pet. 3:10)） Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
He did not mention the 70 AD, but he told them it will not happen in Winter. Instead the siege will happen when fig tree’s branch has already become tender and puts force leaves, and the whole summer. Since the destruction of the Temple and the massacre of the Jews were the will of the Son of Man, there is no way they can prevent it. That’s why Holy Spirit used Paul to ask Christians who were converted from Jews submit to government authority, but do not join the coup of the Jews to resist the Roman Army. Therefore it is written in Romans 13:1 for this matter: Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Amen.
24:36 （Mark 13:32; Acts 1:7;1 Thess. 5:2;2 Pet. 3:10） “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, （Zech. 14:7） but My Father only.
24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
24:38 (Gen. 6:3–5); Luke 17:26; (1 Pet. 3:20)） For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,
24:39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
24:40 （Luke 17:34） Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.
24:41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.
24:42 （Matt. 25:13; Luke 21:36;1 Thess. 5:6） Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.
24:43 （Luke 12:39;1 Thess. 5:2; Rev. 3:3） But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.
24:44 （Luke 12:35–40; (1 Thess. 5:6)） Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
24:45 （Luke 12:42–46; (Acts 20:28)） “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?
24:46 （Rev. 16:15） Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.
24:47 Assuredly, I say to you that （Matt. 25:21, 23; Luke 22:29） he will make him ruler over all his goods.
24:48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master (2 Pet. 3:4–9)） is delaying his coming,’
24:49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,
24:50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is （Mark 13:32） not aware of,
24:51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. （Matt. 8:12; 25:30） There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Casper summary: So the sinful nature of human beings is to imagine themselves as noble and unwilling to face the true nature of human corruption and original sin like us. They construct a virtual worldview to fit in their sin. Under this worldview, they seem to have more freedom, more power, and more status. But shouldn’t the real Gospel be the way of repentance? So the true Gospel is not popular. On the contrary, it is this kind of fanciful dispensationalism, Mormonism, Rapture end time fairy tale that is more popular than the Way, the True, the Life of Biblical Jesus Christ.
